Sections 36 and 37 deal with the issue of educating children who are resident at accommodation centres for asylum seekers. Their access to certain schools and their educational rights are also restricted. If educational facilities are provided at the accommodation centre, then the School Inspections Act 1996 applies.

Section 47 deals with the issue of asylum seekers with children and Section 48 with young asylum seekers.

Section 145 creates an offence of trafficking in prostitution.
