The Childminding And Day Care (Applications For Registration) Regulations 1991

These Regulations require that child minders and providers of day care provide the information specified in Regulations 1 and 2 when applying for registration under the Children Act 1989.
The information required by Regulation 1 includes details about the applicant and where appropriate the person whom it is proposed will be in charge, including his qualification and experience, the premises in which the children will be looked after. Regulation 2 requires details of any other person living in, (or likely to be in,) those premises, and any person assisting (or likely to be assisting) in looking after the children. Regulation 3 requires details of any criminal convictions of any of the persons mentioned in paragraphs 1 or 2 including, the date of offence, the nature of offence, the place where it occurred, the name of the court which gave the conviction and the penalty imposed.
