Child Minding And Day Care (Applications For Registration) (England) Regulations 2001

These Regulations require that child minders and providers of day care provide the information specified in the Schedule when applying for registration in England under Part XA of the Children Act 1989 (as inserted by the Care Standards Act 2000).

Information must be provided about the applicant (and, where appropriate, about the person whom it is proposed will be in charge) including details about qualifications, experience, medical history, criminal convictions and the premises on which the children will be looked after. Information is also required in respect of persons who will be assisting in looking after the children or who will be living or working on the premises.
