Administration of Justice Act 1960

Sections 1 – 10 set out details relating to the right of appeal to the House of Lords in criminal cases.

Sections 11 – 16 include provisions regarding the contempt of court, habeas corpus, and certiorari.  Section 11 applies to the innocent publication and distribution that may interfere with the course of justice.  Section 12 sets out provisions relating to the publication of information relating to proceedings in private.

First Schedule: Modifications of section 1 – 9 in relation to Appeals from Courts-Martial Appeal Court.

Third Schedule: Minor and consequential amendments.

Fourth Schedule: Enactments repealed.
