Hollydale Children’s Home abuse charges
Two former members of staff at Hollydale Children’s Home in Catford, South London are facing abuse charges for offences relating to children at care homes in South London from the 1960’s onwards. After extensive police investigations John Darby, 72, the former Head of the Home was charged with 46 counts of sexual abuse against children and Andrew Chambers, 66, a former supervisor at the Home was charged with 18 counts.
An appeal was launched by the Police last year for victims and witnesses to come forward.
