Northern Ireland survivors of abuse meet at Stormont
The BBC reports that the first and deputy first minister of Northern Ireland have met with survivors of abuse, and that the meeting was “positive and significant”. Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness met the delegation at Stormont on Thursday.
It is possible that the government in Northern Ireland will put together some kind of compensation package, similar to that seen in the Republic of Ireland.
