Court of Appeal hands down limitation judgment
The Court of Appeal has found in favour of a man abused at a Roman Catholic school.
The Claimant (on whose case a commentary can be found at Raggett v Society of Jesus Trust and Others 2009) won his case on the issue of limitation. The Court of Appeal could find no reason to interfere with the finding of the trial judge that the limitation period should be waived.
The full judgment can be found at Raggett v (1) Society of Jesus Trust 1929 for Roman Catholic Purposes (2) Preston Catholic College Governors (2010)
