UK charities call for compulsory child pornography blocking for ISP’s

UK children’s charities have issued strong warnings about the fact that only 95 percent of internet users in the UK are covered by a child sex abuse blacklist. They have called on the government to order every Internet Service Provider to censor such sites.
The use of the internet by paedophiles is an ever present problem. The police have a specialized unit dealing with child pornography on the internet. The problem also extends to the use of the internet by paedophiles to groom children. This is now an offence under sections 9 to 15 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
