Sister of paedophile is glad brother is in prison

“This is Wiltshire” reports how a sister of a child abuser has waived her anonymity to report her experiences. Her abuser was jailed for 17 years for sexually assaulting three women over a period of 30 years.

This case demonstrates how important it is to come forward and report sexual crime, even though offences have taken place a very long time ago. Recent cases in the courts have shown that the Crown Prosecution Service are quite prepared to prosecute on the word of only one witness, and where the events have occurred decades back.
