Woman wins claim against local authority

A 33 year old lady has won a claim for negligence against the London Borough of Camden for failing to protect her from abuse as a child. Although she was past primary limitation, the court was prepared to exercise its discretion to waive the limitation period. She received £60,000 in damages.
