New police computer system helps police trap paedophiles
22nd June 2009
A new police computer system is helping the police track paedophiles. The Impact Nominal Index system was created after the murders in Soham. The system lists suspicions and intelligence on those cases that are not brought to court. Information is supplied by all police forces in England, Wales and Scotland.
The system has already been used to protect children.
